What is a HIIT class?

HIIT stands for high intensity interval training. Classes consist of different exercises. All exercised are carried out for a pre determined time or interval before moving to a new exercise. Remember you work at your own pace and intensity, no need to compare to the person beside you. Of course if you can work a little harder a friendly trainer will encourage you to take it to the next level. 

What should I expect at a HIIT class?

The class will last for 45 minutes. It will include a dynamic warm up and a cool down. Expect different types and styles of exercise. Some stations will use body weight for resistance and other will use weights, bands or kettle bells. Classe will fly by as you work through the exercise stations.

What should I bring to a HIIT class?

Keeping warm is essential in winter. Layers are always a good idea. A hat and gloves work great in the cold weather. Some clients like to bring yoga matts to keep dry if the grass is a little wet.
